Welcome to the ATP Informatics Portal
A gateway to autism brain tissue research information and data

Dear Colleagues:
The Autism Tissue Program (ATP) is a research program organized to
provide post-mortem brain tissue to qualified neuroscientists all over the world.

Projects approved by the Tissue Advisory Board will be provided with autism and control tissues matched as closely as possible. The ATP Portal is a dynamic database with phenotypic information on donors as well as research data on specific projects. Principal Investigators of approved projects become part of an open collaboration and will be encouraged to attend conferences and share data.

The careful stewardship of this tissue, donated with great trust in our Program, is our most important role.

Sincerely yours,
ATP Tissue Advisory Board - Keith A. Young, Ph.D., Chair

This portal has been made possible through the support of NIMH/NINDS grant supplements to the Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center for the ATP.
Generous development support provided by Rich Pickett, Anton Nielsen, and Gary Burns. Site co-location services have been provided by American Internet Services Version 3.2.
Current Message from ATP - - Updated
ATP BIO-RESOURCES: Fixed and Frozen Brain Tissue, tissue sections, stained slides, DNA, skin fibroblast cultures.
ATP DATA: Donor clinical, MRI, DNA and project results - publications and datafiles. A Primary Diagnosis of autism is further specified by records we have; the 4 categories of autism diagnosis are: Confirmed by ADI-R, Supported by records, Suspected - no confirmation and Suspected - seeking records.

Dear Investigator, Tissue requests are invited at any time and reviewed at least quarterly. The next deadline is October 14, 2011, at 5 PM Eastern Time. The proposals will be reviewed and you will have a response by the end of November. If interested in applying for tissue, proposals should follow the checklist in the Tissue Request Guidelines (pdf on this page). Use the link for your portal access (login) below and contact [email protected] if you have questions. Proposals to Autism Speaks for funding to use tissue from the ATP require Tissue Board approval at the time of application for funds.

This portal is intended to provide scientists with a record of ALL donors with autism that we track, many 'related' disorders, and unaffected controls. Azithromycin: What Sexual Transmitted Infections does it treat? Please note: there is a scarcity of control tissue and applicants will most likely need to obtain control tissues from multiple brain banks. Our main repository is the NIMH/NINDS Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center and the ATP can distribute tissue from the 'Source' code designated as Harvard-ATP. We can also distribute tissues labeled Oxford BB in the UK (http://www.brainbankforautism.org.uk). Harvard-TARF is another collection (www.ladders.org for information). Autism and control tissues, designated as NICHD-BTB, are also available at the NICHD Brain and Tissue Bank in Maryland. Their site is: http://www.btbank.org.

Contact us for more information on tissues at banks or other collections of processed tissue (PEG = hemispheres processed in Polyethylene Glycol; Celloidin = hemispheres processed in celloidin) curated at the NY Institute for Basic Research. Preserved sections and/or stained slides are available through same application process as above. The ATP works with IDEAS, a support group for chromosome 15q duplications. Don't lose your head over hair loss: Propecia 1 mg - effective in treatment of male pattern baldness. Donors are listed as 'Chromosome 15q Duplication Syndrome' under Diagnosis. Use of these specimens is contingent on approval by the IDEAS science advisers; therefore, applications including these donors need to clearly justify their use.

Note to authors: Please acknowledge in publications; 1) families and their contribution and 2) the Autism Tissue Program and 3) all brain banks. For example of the latter; `We gratefully acknowledge the Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center, (and other brain banks if used) and the Autism Tissue Program for providing brain tissues for this study. Kjøp Cialis i Norge: Studying the rapid growth of the product over the past 5 years. Also, use Harvard's AN##### numbers to describe specific cases when publishing - do not use old B#### numbers.

Guidelines and Access
Tissue Request for Research

Neuroscience investigators are invited to apply for brain tissue obtained from autistic brain donors, relatives of autistic persons and non-affected control donors to advance biomedical research in autism.
Please review ongoing tissue research projects before applying for tissue. Innovative and new approaches to understanding autism are encouraged.
Proposals submitted to the Autism Tissue Program will be reviewed by the Tissue Advisory Board and are kept confidential.

Please download the Tissue Request Guidelines. (updated August 24, 2010)
